(Reports to Manager, Compliance & Centralized Administration)

The Centralized Administration Associate supports the Centralized Administration department by performing a variety of moderately complex, timely and accurate clerical functions. This includes daily processing of file load, incoming wires, bill payments, CAFT, and stop payments. This role will also be responsible for daily reconciliation of the eTransfer and draft accounts as well as general oversight of garnishes. This role actively contributes to the accuracy and production of ABCU’s centralized team through the regular completion of reconciliations and investigation of any variances identified.
Job Duties:
- Daily reconciliation and processing of the file load system.
- Processing bill payments and stop payments.
- Processing incoming wires, as main administrator.
- Daily reconciliation of e-transfers and drafts.
- Daily processing and general oversight of garnishees
- New account documentation and DNA set up.
- Registered account documentation and DNA posting. This includes new registered accounts, internal transfers, external transfers, RRIF payments.
- Cross-train and provide coverage to the Central Administration Associate 2 role.
- Cross-train and provide coverage for other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- One-year post-secondary education preferred.
- Three to five years job-related/industry experience.
- Comfort and ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Ability to work from the Beaumont Branch, Monday to Friday.
- A combination of education and work experience will be considered.
Internal/External Contacts:
- Incumbent will have contact with all employees of ABCU.
- Incumbent will have contact with other credit unions, banks, trust companies and other industry related businesses, including government and regulatory bodies.
